亞古沙的出色表現亦吸引到喀麥隆國家隊注意，兩度入選集訓隊，外號「雄獅」的喀麥隆是2000年和2002年連續兩屆非洲國家盃冠軍，亦是2002年世界盃決賽週隊伍，亞古沙入選後與當時世界級球星、效力巴塞隆拿的「獵豹」伊度奧一起訓練，成為一時佳話。最終未有為喀麥隆上陣過的亞古沙，2010年取得本地球員身份，可惜由於護照遲遲未獲批，只為港隊在省港盃上陣過，無法出席當年東亞盃決賽週。
